GAD-7 (Generalized Anxiety Disorder- Seven Item Scale)

Type of Tool: Diagnostic
Repeatability: Repeatable by Clinician’s Judgment
Description: The GAD-7 is a 7 item scale, which is useful when screening for Generalized Anxiety Disorder. It effectively assesses the disorder’s severity in clinical practice as well as research settings. The GAD-7 can also be used to assess the effects of therapy, as it can serve as a measure for change across time.
